Hurricane Matthew Update

Old-Fort-Bay-Beachfront-Aerials-2016-(10)

Damianos Sotheby’s International Realty has resumed normal business hours as of 9am yesterday morning, Tuesday, October 11th.

Hurricane Matthew moved through the Bahamas last week and although it was a Category 4 storm, it caused relatively little structural damage to the country’s main islands. Most of the damages that occurred in Nassau were to landscaping, although some of the low lying areas on the southern coast experienced flooding. Major cleanup and repairs are underway and telecommunications and internet communications are intact and fully functioning.

We are grateful to have been so lucky and we are now back to business as usual. We remain ready and available to service all of your real estate needs!

The Bahamas is open for business and Bahamians are back to work.
Thank you for your continued support and friendship.
