Jane Patterson

Calling upon her extensive knowledge of real estate on Elbow Cay and neighboring islands, and leaning into her strong sense of dedication, responsiveness and integrity, Jane Patterson has been building long-lasting relationships with her clients for nearly three decades. Capitalizing on the contacts and deep ties she cultivated as a property manager in Hope Town for nearly 27 years Jane joined Damianos Sotheby’s International Realty in 2003 where she has earned the title of Top Producer in Abaco three years in a row. Jane’s confidence, positive demeanor, local connections, and problem-solving strategies have served both buyers and sellers, whether locally or abroad, and her commitment to the Hope Town community that she calls home is virtually unparalleled. When Hurricane Dorian made landfall in Hope Town in 2019, Jane remained on the ground and set about helping NGOs, such as Samaritan’s Purse International Disaster Relief, source housing for their volunteers and played a critical in helping clean out friends’ and family members’ homes as well as debris removal from streets. Since then, Jane continues to work tirelessly to rebuild the community through regular donations to local charities and providing tremendous support to second homeowners as their on-the-ground advisor.

Jane graduatedwith a Bachelor of Science from Cal Poly Luis Obispo in California before returning to Elbow Cay where she has resided for most of her life. She now splits her time between Hope Town, where her son also lives, Guana Cay and Man-O-War Cay where her daughter and grandchildren live. Jane enjoys boating and traveling as well as taking long walks on the beautiful white sand beaches of Elbow Cay, soaking in the crystal-clear blue waters surrounding Hope Town and relaxing with yoga to help with balance of body and mind.
