Sobre Exuma Cays
Just 95 miles from Nassau, 14 miles from Great Exuma and 250 miles from Miami lies Darby Island – a 554-acre private island in the Exuma Cays with elevations as high as 87'. The island is surrounded by gin clear turquoise waters boasting approximately 21,650 ft. (4.163 Miles) of water frontage and 14 white sandy beaches.
At the center of the island exists a 7000 sq. ft. structure known as “The Castle”. Built in 1938, this structure is in need of repair but could easily be transformed into a spectacular private home or clubhouse.
The island can support a 5,000-foot runway and features protected deep-water harbours in addition to a network of caves.
Darby Island has all the basic essentials for development. It is located within close proximity to the Great Exuma International airport with daily commercial international flights.
