The Islands of the Bahamas

The capital city of The Islands of the Bahamas is found on 21-mile-long New Providence, our 11th largest island.

Long Island is located in the south-east Bahamas and is approximately 60 miles long,  and is also narrow - no more than 4 miles at its widest point.  It is indeed a land of contrasts in geography, architecture and enterprise.

This tiny island is two miles east of  North Eleuthera.  A popular retreat for celebrities and one of the oldest established settlements in the Bahamas, was founded by the British Loyalists.

First settled by Eleutherian Adventurers seeking religious freedom in 1649; this island of rolling hills, lakes and stunning beaches is a vacation home haven.

Elbow cay is approximately 6 miles long and ¼ mile wide.  This cay has a lot to offer with beautiful beaches and hilltop views, picture book harbor home to the candy-striped lighthouse at the entrance to Hope Town.

This 300-acre cay is located 10 minutes by boat from Elbow Cay and 25 minutes from Marsh Harbour and is one of the most picturesque and undeveloped of the cays.

Cable Beach is named after the breath-taking beach that fronts the area and is a mix of both commercial and residential developments.

Treasure Cove, a gated oceanfront community located in the southeastern area of New Providence, Bahamas. This community has become one of the popular gated residential areas of Nassau due to its beach frontage, secure family atmosphere, large park & playground, and close proximity to St. Andrews, The International Baccalaureate School of the Bahamas.
