Spanish Wells is a place for those who want to vacation in a Caribbean island that is still pristine and peaceful. It is a quiet fishing village where one can relax without kitschy or loud tourist attractions. It is in a perfect location, situated between Harbour Island and Eleuthera. Harbour Island, a tourist mecca, is a 25 minute ferry ride away and Eleuthera, a mere 10 minute boat ride. Both of these islands provide extensive opportunities for day trips. Spanish Wells is connected to Russells Island (where Windswept is located) by a bridge and it is the quieter of the two islands because it is just beginning to be developed.
Spanish Wells/Russell's Island are easily accessible with daily flights into the North Eleuthera International Airport and by Bahamas Fast Ferries "BoHengy."
